I've worked for one of Europe's leading meat processing businesses for nearly 25 years in various Category Management, Marketing & Communications roles and through that time have worked with the majority of UK, Irish & European retailers in understanding the shopper, developing products including packaging and merchandising solutions to drive business growth for both supplier and retailer. I've worked with our farmer supply base to better understand the supply chain and have created compelling stories for our customers to be able to better sell their products to the end consumer. I'm proud to have been a judge in the British Pie Awards in Melton Mowbray for the last 3 years, judged at the prestigious World Steak Challenge for 3 years including having been a Panel Chair for the last 2 of those and this will be my 4th year judging The Grocer New Product Awards. I'm always amazed by the innovation shown across all categories and the standard of entries is always really high so I'm looking forward to seeing how this has evolved this year.
