I’m an experienced NPD and Innovation Director with over 20 years in the food and drink industry, spanning artisan to FMCG environments. My career began in fine dining, including at the 2 Michelin star level, before moving into product development across categories like chocolate, patisserie, plant-based desserts, bakery, and functional drinks. I’ve led successful launches with major retailers including M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Asda, combining culinary creativity with technical expertise and commercial strategy.
My strength lies in translating emerging trends and consumer insights into commercially viable, sustainable products that balance indulgence and functionality. I’m passionate about clean-label innovation and driving excellence in both product and process.
I’ve also served as a judge for The Academy of Chocolate, The Craft Bakers Association, The World Food Innovation Awards, and Yorkshire Life, alongside winning international competitions in bakery and patisserie. Whether mentoring teams, leading development workshops, or assessing food and packaging innovation, I bring a balanced, expert perspective grounded in real industry experience.
