Judging Process

All entered products are evaluated by expert judges drawn from a range of disciplines in the fmcg fields.

The judging of the food and drink categories will be live and held on 1st, 2nd & 3rd August, adhering to the government and public health guidelines at the time.

Your food & drink products will be judged and scored based on the following rigorous 10-point criteria:

  • Appearance
  • Aroma
  • Taste/Flavour
  • Texture
  • Quality of execution
  • Value for money
  • Targeting & insight
  • Product innovation
  • Packaging innovation
  • Design and instructions

The judging of the non-food categories will be judged in home by a selection of expert judges across the course of the beginning of July.

Products will be judged and scored on similar rigorous criteria as above.

Following the judging a shortlist will be drawn for which a winner will be awarded in each category at an awards lunch on Tuesday 15th November.

Every entrant will receive a summary report for each entry giving insight into the judges’ comments, scoring against the category average, category performance and finally an overall performance score of your product.
